Strengthen yourself to withstand!

What you cannot.

Will to unite reason to get done!

What they have not.

Be the savior and take a flight!

You fear but you must not.

Because you possess the might!

That they do not.

Because you can take charge!

When they cannot.

Then you spread your wings and your breath catches on;

You take the fall and the winds speed you on.

You think this is it; your despondency is forever gone..

But your flight is broken; in despair you sink down.

You resort to only gazing at the sky while walking on;

And mending a broken wing since you've fallen down.

Sometimes son, all life wants is for you to run along

While it cleans and dusts new paths; unexplored.

You can seldom console yourself and stay strong.

But those treasures are worth the wait; so stay strong.

Your hands may break from mending but hold on;

You learn to mend your legs when your wings are worn.

Sometimes son, when your plans are futile and all seems gone;

Life has it's own surprises and plans coming along.

And just as you think you have waited too long;

You find opportunities lying at your own tiny feet.

So no matter how much that's done to you seems wrong;

In the end you must always learn to stay strong.
